Framework
- The Framework:
• common architecture
• flexible, uniform, technology‐neutral
• aligns policy, business, and technology approaches
• includes protocols and standards for information management
• Data exchange within the Smart Grid and between devices and 
technologies

- NIST has offered a Smart Grid architecture; priorities for 
interoperability standards, including cybersecurity: NISTIR 7628
