Comment : I sadly learned over the last weekend passing of Dr. Paul
MacCready. His contributions to aviation and solar energy uses in
transportation are indispensable. He was also "father of
human-powered flight" as he ran the projects on Gossamer Condor
and Gossamer Albatross, which claimed the prize on flying accross
English Channel on human power. These events took place at my
tender age of 14 and 16, affecting profoundly on my career
choices in engineering & science over other options.
