Top 15 Solar Suppliers in the First Quarter - First Solar is new solar PV panel industry leader

Description: The first quarter was a tumultuous time for the Solar PV industry. The 34% market drop was the worst in the recorded history of the industry and our analysis shows that this led to an upheaval of the competitive landscape. LDK Solar moved up 4 positions to take second. This pushed number two from a year ago down to third position and Sharp all the way down to seventh. Q-Cells, the third largest from a year ago dropped to 5th position. Evergreen grew fastest with a 501% jump.
